Performance Objectives:
Within the the first Month:
Learn and understand the processes and methods employed at the program to perform requirements gathering, PeopleSoft fit/gap analysis, test planning and training delivery to accomplish assigned project area. Bring best practice approach from past experience and provide recommendations to improve the current processes where necessary. Participate in business process analysis and requirements analysis workshops. Take a leadership role in facilitating, documenting, and performing the analysis of the assigned HCM business area. Where opportunities present grow into a leadership role for the particular project phase.
Within the first 3 months:
Increase awareness and understanding of HCM practices and regulations applicable to Military business processes and be able to translate them into PeopleSoft HCM 9.x configurations.
Within the first 6 months:
Provide PeopleSoft 9.x HCM and Talent Management functional thought leadership to the team. Collaborate with the technical teams to develop functional and technical designs. Develop prototypes and demos to showcase PeopleSoft 9.x HCM out of the box capability to business community and senior leadership.
Daily Responsibilities Continued: What would a top person do first:
* Conduct requirements gathering and analysis meetings with the business stakeholders
* Fit/Gap analysis against PeopleSoft HCM 9.x delivered capability
* Develop Functional design documents
* Develop and maintain functional configurations using PeopleSoft HCM 9.x
* Develop Test plan, Execute various testing activities i.e. data conversion, integration/interfaces, regression, system, parallel and user test
What’s the biggest technical Challenge
* The legacy system is a highly customized PeopleSoft 8.0 HRMS. It is being retired incrementally by delivered functionality of PeopleSoft 9.x HCM. The system landscape has evolved to include a complex integration capability in facilitating the phased rollout. The project pushes one to think outside the box in delivering capabilities that maximize the customers return on investment. A thorough knowledge of Core HR, and its impacts to talent management and other downstream modules will be a plus in foreseeing issues and troubleshooting problems as they occur.

What activities are required of this position:
* Gathering requirements and analysis
* Develop Test plan, Execute various testing activities i.e. data conversion, integration/interfaces, regression, system, parallel and user test
* Develop Training plan, training materials and conduct formal training (instructor-led, web based etc.)
* Peer review work products of other team members
* Co-ordinate and deliver project status
* Maintain actions items and risks applicable to the functional tasks and co-ordinate timely resolution with the project team

Required: Years of experience:(min) 6-9
Required: Degree Bachelors
Required: Basic Qualifications - 9 + years PeopleSoft HCM experience, including experience with HCM v9.0
- 9 + years ERP system implementation experience
- Experience in two or more of the following PeopleSoft modules: PeopleSoft Global Payroll, PeopleSoft Absence Management, PeopleSoft Recruiting,
PeopleSoft Core HR
- Experience in all phases of implementation lifecycle
- Knowledge of software implementation methodology
